Less than two months after starting its services in Hyderabad, Localbanya.com is now offering delivery of orders within 120 minutes. Branded as Instabanya, the service is available to all Hyderabad customers effective immediately.
The service will be offered for free for all orders above Rs 500 while a flat fee of Rs 49 will be charged for orders less than 500. More importantly, this is the first time the company will allow customers to order less than Rs 500 at a time.
Localbanya co–founder Rashi Choudhary saya, “In our quest to innovate and best service our customers, we are delighted to announce Instabanya. It is an important step for us as we look to forge ahead in this industry and build on market share. Customers have been looking for an option to have their orders delivered instantly and we are really excited to pilot this in Hyderabad.”
“This builds on the fantastic response to our service by the people of Hyderabad since we started regular operations in March 2015. In a short period of time, we have been able to establish a very active customer base that orders very frequently. We are confident our base will respond very well to this innovative upgrade and we look forward to rolling out this service to our other markets shortly,” she added.
2015 has been a very busy year for Localbanya, with them having entered three new markets since February. The firm now operates in Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Delhi. With a user base of over a lakh registered users and deliveries of around 1500 per day, the company has steadily established itself as a leading player in the online grocery segment in India.
