Amazon Fashion launches 3 international brands in India

Amazon.in on Monday announced the launch of an exciting portfolio of international brands on the Amazon Fashion store online including Bjorn Borg, Drunknmunky and Rockland luggage.
The store will also be launching a selection from the iconic brand, Replay – a brand synonymous with jeans in the US – soon. Replay offers close to 300 styles with a collection of T-shirts, shirts, jeans, and footwear on Amazon.in.
Bjorn Borg, a Swedish brand that has stores in seven European countries, has marked its India entry with the launch of the brand’s latest leather sneakers’ selection ranging from Rs 5,999-7,999. Drunknmunky, a popular fashion brand, has debuted in India with a selection of the brand’s running shoes and vibrant sneakers for both men and women ranging from Rs 3,999-6999. Meanwhile, Rockland, a popular US brand known for luggage sets, has launched its eclectic luggage collection on Amazon.in.
Consumers can now shop from over 4,000 selections from close to 20 international brands on Amazon.in, one of India’s largest online stores.
Director Category Management Amazon Fashion, India, Mayank Shivam said at the launch: “It gives us immense pleasure to further enhance our fashion portfolio by launching an exciting line-up of these international premium brands. We have also expanded our fashion store offerings from 5,000 brands to over 11,000 brands with two million fashion products in a short span of a year. We now offer brands and merchandize across the fashion spectrum which reinforces our vision to make Amazon Fashion a one-stop fashion destination. We will continue to expand our selection so customers can easily find and buy exactly what they are looking for and enjoy the latest global fashion trends.”
A Drunknmunky spokesperson was quoted by agencies as saying: “We are very excited about the opportunity to showcase our brand on Amazon.in, and to bring our legacy to the Indian customers through an e-commerce channel. India is one of the fastest growing economies, including the pace at which the digital economy is growing. We are delighted to launch the brand online in order to provide maximum possible reach while our brand is presented in the best possible environment on Amazon.in.”

As of today, the Amazon.in Fashion Store is among the top three stores on Amazon.in. With more than 11,000 brands and two million fashion products, Amazon Fashion also has the largest selection of merchandise in categories like handbags, kid’s apparel, watches, fashion and precious jewellery.
