Swiggy, the online food ordering application, announced that it has tied-up with QSR chain Burger King, to offer quick and seamless ordering experiences for customers. Swiggy will be the exclusive pan-India partner for Burger King and will manage logistics for the chain’s 23 outlets in Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Delhi and Gurgaon, the company said in a statement.
“While expanding our catalogue, we expect to create a large impact in the hyper-local delivery space, customers can expect to receive their favourite burgers in 35 minutes from the comfort of their home,” Nandan Reddy, co-founder, Swiggy, said.
Online apps and mobile penetration have changed the way business is being done worldwide, chief executive at Burger King, Raj Varman, said in an official statement. “We believe tech-enabled solutions will give us a chance to keep pace with customers. This strategic tie-up with Swiggy has opened avenues for faster growth,” he added. Burger King operates 30 outlets in India across Mumbai, Delhi, National Capital Region, Bengaluru, Pune, Chandigarh, Ludhiana and Jalandhar.
