'More Shoes for Less' opens second store in Baroda

Footwear retailer, More Shoes for Less (MSL) has opened its second store in Baroda at More Mega Store. Spread over 965 sq.ft., the new outlet stocks 8,000 pairs of casuals, formals and party collection shoes for both men and women. MSL also retails handbags, socks, wallets, belts and footwear accessories.

Speaking on the occasion, Sohel Kamdar, Vice President, MSL, said: "Our sole aim to launch this format is to serve the larger fashion craving market in India. With this launch we plan to offer fashion footwear at reasonable prices. We have designed the products as well as the showroom keeping in mind our customer’s taste. When you walk in, you will find colourful products displayed in a spacious layout to provide you with the best shopping environment and an unforgettable experience. While the product designs reflect the latest in fashion and prices aren't heavy on the pocket. It is value shopping at its best.”

Men’s footwear are priced Rs 149 onwards while ladies footwear price starts from Rs 99. The retailer will offer an inaugral 20+20+20 percent discount on its in-house brand and 10 percent off on other brands from 17th-19th February.

MSL plans to open 3 stores and 10 shop-in-shop concepts by the next financial year. All stand-alone stores will be company managed to ensure control and growth.

'More Shoes for Less' was launched in 2009. The first store of the company opened in Secunderabad after which 11 stores were opened in Hyderabad, Aurangabad, Rajkot, Pune and Ahmedabad. MSL is also available in select D Mart and Spencer’s.
