Must Read

The government of India is said to have planned an organization for the India’s gems and jewellery sector. This organization is said to be on the lines of Gold Group of Dubai and will help in projecting Indian jewellery as a global brand.

The organization would also give smart cards to jewellery manufacturers, which will help in facilitating trading in gems and jewellery at both domestic and international markets. A report has already been submitted by the former revenue secretary Mr. Sivaraman, who is heading the committee appointed by the finance ministry, in this regard. Forthcoming budget could reflect the key recommendations made by the committee.
