Sources close to the development have confirmed that the French retail giant Carrefour is in the last stage of entering a Joint venture for its India foray.
It is believed that Carrefour is about sign the JV with the Wadia Group, but sources in the know say that Carrefour is still in talks with other companies.
“As per our knowledge, they are still in talks with various companies to look for a partner, but so far they have not finalized the partner,” said Dr. Ajay. K. Dua, Secretary, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion on the sidelines of Retail Summit organized by Assocham.
