LVMH has identified India as one of the most promising markets for luxury goods, while admitting to its concern about the lack of luxury retail environments. In addition to opening Sephora stores, the group will aim to widen the luxury retail environment from the current five-star hotel format to specialty malls in leading Indian cities such as Mumbai and Delhi.
