Ravi Naware, divisional chief executive, Foods Business, ITC Limited, will present an ‘India Overview’ at India Food Forum launch session on September 4, at India Retail Forum (IRF) 2007.
Naware graduated as a Chemical Engineer from IIT Mumbai and completed his Masters in Business Administration from Mumbai University. He joined ITC in the technical function of the Tobacco Division in 1974, handling various responsibilities including operations management, quality management and ERP deployment. He was executive vice president (Technical) before establishing and assuming charge of ITC’s Foods Division as divisional chief executive in 2002. In the last five years, the Foods Division of ITC has launched several successful brands like Aashirvaad, Sunfeast, Candyman, Mint-O, Kitchens of India and Bingo. It is one of the fastest-growing branded food businesses in India.
India Retail Forum 2007 will be hosted with global industry participation on September 4-6, at the Renaissance in Mumbai.
