Samir Kuckreja will be a key anchor for Food Forum at IRF 2007

Samir Kuckreja, CEO and managing director, Nirula’s, will be on the expert jury at the India Food Forum launch session at India Retail Forum (IRF), on September 4, 2007. Even as the discussion unleashes around the topic ‘Food: The Biggest Propeller of Retail’, Kuckreja will oversee as expert panel member along with Gunender Kapur, president and chief executive, Food Business, Reliance Retail, and Arvind Chaudhary, CEO, Food Business, Future Group.

Kuckreja, who has done a BA in Economics from St Stephen’s College, Delhi, and a BS in Hotel Administration from Cornell University, USA, has over 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He started his career with Four Seasons Hotel in Philadelphia, USA.

Kuckreja worked at Nirula’s in Delhi for 9 years and looked after operations, business development and marketing. He was Business Development Manager for the Indian subcontinent with Yum Restaurants in Delhi for three-and-a-half years, and responsible for setting up over 70 Pizza Hut and KFC restaurants.

India Retail Forum 2007 will be hosted with global industry participation on September 4-6, at the Renaissance in Mumbai.
