Acer India launches schemes for retail

Must Read

Acer India has now come with an exclusive retail scheme called “Acer Mania” designed specifically for their retail partners across the country for the OND 2007 quarter.

This is to reward retail partners through certain schemes available to them on a monthly and quarterly basis and include monthly booster schemes, rewards for achieving quarter targets, and an exclusive booster for AMD-based Acer SKUs and pre-loaded Microsoft OS-based Acer SKUs.

“This incentive scheme is one of the many initiatives that we have for our retail partners,” said S. Rajendran, general manager (sales and marketing) for Acer India.

The scheme is split into 5 sub-schemes – Mr. Dependable, mad about AMD challenge, Acer – MS genuine software challenge, digital lifestyle evangelist, and the top gun challenge.

The “Mr. Dependable” contest rewards those partners who achieve their target every month in the quarter.

The “mad about AMD” challenge award is an exclusive contest with regards to AMD notebooks and desktops, where Acer will continue to test the demand for AMD within the retail community.

The Acer “MS genuine software challenge” is an initiative taken up in partnership with Microsoft to reward partners who buy machines with a pre-loaded OS (Vista Home basic/ Vista Business/ Vista Home premium).

The “digital lifestyle evangelist” contest is a rewards program based on Acer’s premium lifestyle product line like the Ferrari and ultra small form factor series, the Travel Mate 6292, and Aspire 4920.

Lastly, the “top gun challenge” runs on a 6-month target basis with the partners who achieve their targets, qualifying for a chance to travel to Europe.

During the course of this scheme, partners are expected to maintain Acer’s high standard of quality and operate within the market operating price band. Special price deals, demo units, stand alone CRT monitors, and desktops without monitors are excluded from the purview of this contest. All partner claims must be made before January 25th, 2008.

The scheme is open to all the Acer Malls and Acer Points across the country.
