Backed by retail access points, the gaming culture in India is on the rise, and gamers in the country can hope for more playstations as Zapak and Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) come together to organise the country’s first Gaming Summit on November 28, in Mumbai.
The Gaming Summit will have industry stalwarts coming from varied fields including gaming, media and advertising. Personalities to address the summit include David Christensen from Sony Online Entertainment; Mohit Anand from Microsoft Xbox; Desmond Lu Guanghang of Shanda Entertainment, a leading gaming company in China; and Erez Naveh from Come 2 Play.
The panel discussions will elaborate upon past, current and future trends that will range from gaming industry overview, to the gaming industry value chain, to the DNA of a typical gamer and potentials of gaming as a tool to promote brands.
