Bhasin Infotech & Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd, a Delhi-based real estate developer, is building a shopping mall called Grand Venezia in Greater Noida.
Confirming the news to Indiaretailing, Pawan Chawla, vice president, Bhasin group, said: “Spread across about 1,500,000 square feet, Venezia is adjacent to Jay Pee Golf Club and near the proposed airport. The mall is expected to be operational by July 2009.”
Chawla confirmed that the company has already signed Pantaloons and City Max Hotels to be the anchors at the mall. Besides, Big Jo’s and CTC Plaza will be mini anchors, while other fashion and lifestyle brands including Bon-Ton, Disney, Koutons, Lilliput, Pepe, Puma and United Colors of Benetton will open exclusive brand outlets at the mall.
The mall will target upper-middle classes in catchments and also plans to be a tourist destination.
