Pantaloons to open around 110 Big Bazaars

Pantaloon Retail India Limited (PRIL) has planned to make an investment of more than Rs 1,500 crore for opening over 110 Big Bazaars in various cities across the country.

Speaking to media at the launch of their ninth store in Vadodara today, Anand Adukia, zonal chief, Big Bazaar, said, “With this launch, Big Bazaar’s total goes up to 90 stores in 55 cities in the country. Being a consumer-driven company, we ensure that all our Big Bazaar stores fulfil the needs of the entire household under one roof.”

The company, within a couple of months, intends to open stores in cities including Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Jamnagar, Bhavnagar and Vapi.
