Electronic retail chain RPG Cellucom, a part of the RPG Retail, has planned to open around 300 stores and is aiming to generate revenues of around Rs 500 crore in the current fiscal.
Speaking to media at the launch of their 200th outlet in the country in Goregaon, Mumbai, Vikas Tawani, executive director, RPG Cellucom said: “The target is quite achievable for us as we are increasing the number of our retail stores to 500 within this fiscal from the present 200.”
The company ventured into the retail business in January last year and is currently operating stores in 18 cities across India.
