Koutons Retail has planned to launch its footwear range for men and kids by October this year.
Announcing plans, Balvinder Singh Ahluwalia, president (sales), Koutons Retail said: “We will launch our footwear range for men and kids by October this year as part of our strategy to offer complete range of wardrobe and accessories to customers under one roof.” For this, the company has planned to source footwear from China and India.
Besides, the company has firmed up plans to enter the overseas market by opening its first store in Dubai next year.
For expansion in India, the company will invest around Rs 100 crore to open over 500 stores this year. “Koutons plans to increase the strength of its stores from the current 1,263 to 1,800 stores by the end of this fiscal,” informed Ahluwalia.
