Piramal Healthcare Limited, one of the largest pharmaceutical and healthcare companies in India, and Pierre Fabre Group, the second largest privately-owned pharmaceutical group in France, have jointly launched a dermo-cosmetic range called Ducray.
Ducray offers a package of products that are designed to suit Indian skin and hair under these sub-ranges – Ducray Hair Care, Ducray Skin Care and A-Derma.
Underlining the need for quality dermo-cosmetics in India, Dr Swati Piramal, director of strategic alliances & communications at Piramal Healthcare, said, “There are lots of customers who understand their skin and have high expectations from our products. With the Ducray launch, we are offering superior quality and well-researched products to our clientele.”
The entire range of products is priced between Rs 300 and Rs 500, and will be available, on dermatologist’s recommendation, at all organised pharmaceutical stores across India.
Piramal is confident of achieving Rs 20 crore turnover in the next two years.
