Must Read

Om Daily Needs Retailing Pvt Ltd, in its aggressive expansion spree, has planned to add single-store retailers as franchise partners and is targeting to achieve the 100 stores mark by the end of the current fiscal.

For this project, the company will upgrade the stores of individual retailers to ‘Canvas Stationery Mart’ provided the stores fulfill company’s exclusive guidelines of an average retail space of 300 to 500 square feet and other requirements such as good infrastructure, interiors and layout.

Amit Nigam, COO, Om Daily Needs, said, “We are focusing more on the franchise model to partner with the individuals or the smaller stationery stores and will upgrade the existing stores, which meet the guidelines exclusively specified for Canvas.”

“Our intention is to change the way people shop for stationery by offering them more than what is available in the neighbourhood stationery shops,” he added.

The company will also introduce stores with an average area of 100 to 180 square feet, inside the premises of its bigger retail format ‘Daily Needs’ and will retail products including office stationery, school supplies, gaming items, gifts and accessories.
