Reliance Footprint to add 30 stores by this fiscal

Reliance Footprint, the footwear retail format of Reliance Retail, is planning to touch the 30 stores mark countrywide by the end of this fiscal.

Launching the company’s first store in Tamil Nadu, Gopalakrishnan Sankar, chief executive officer, Reliance Footprint, said, “We are planning to open around 30-35 stores every year, and each will cover an area of around 6,000 to 10,000 square feet.”

The company currently operates seven stores in Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi, Noida, Mangalore and Ludhiana and will soon launch in Kochi, Mumbai, Jaipur and Amritsar.
