Emaar Malls Group, the retail and shopping mall subsidiary of Dubai-based Emaar Properties, is all set to open Dubai Marina Mall soon. The mall, with 390,000 square feet of leasable area over four levels, is slated to be operational on December 22 this year. It homes 160 stores in segments including fashion, jewellery, home furnishings, entertainment and food courts, said a company press release.
Ian Ferguson, general manager, Dubai Marina Mall, said, “With a dynamic mix of high street fashion and trendy labels, Dubai Marina Mall will appeal to the cosmopolitan needs of the marina residents. The mall will be a destination of choice for shopping, leisure and entertainment.”
The food and beverage retailers including Dean & Deluca, Yo! Sushi, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Noodle Factory, Karam Beirut and the café chains like Café Nero, Café Blanc and Eric Kayser will open their outlets in the mall in early 2009. Moreover, edutainment and play centre chain ‘Favourite Things’ will open its second UAE outlet here and a flagship store of Britain’s high street retailer of food products ‘Waitrose’ will also open its store in the mall in January 2009, added the release.
Further, the brands, which are expected to join the league of fashion, accessories and beauty segments soon, include Bebe Sport, Karen Millen, Diesel, Ed Hardy, Juicy Couture, Patrizia Pepe, Paul & Shark, Miss Sixty, Byblos, Fred Perry, Lacoste, Nautica, Desigual, Cole Haan, Duchamps, Folli Follie, Yamamay, Guess by Marciano, Reiss, Sephora and Bobbi Brown.
