Imagine a four wheeler being available at a Reliance Digital store! Yes, very soon Reliance Digital stores will offer its customers the comfort of buying electronic car – Reva.
The new development comes as a sales tie up between Reliance Digital and REVA electric car company. The partnership will initially kick-off from the Reliance Digital stores in Hyderabad, Delhi and NCR, extending other cities at later stages.
Ajay Baijal, president and chief executive, Reliance Digital shares, “We are extremely buoyant with this tie up as it would be an unique initiative which would be a first of its kind where in a technology retailer would move beyond its regular frontiers to promote and sell a forward looking technology.”
Sale of electric cars at Reliance digital outlets is an initiative from REVA to look at alternate methods to reach customers apart from the conventional systems. REVA being a pioneer in electric cars has successfully implemented internet based distribution in London to sell its cars, through its distributor – Going Green.
REVA also has an online collaboration with Autojunction for selling REVAi — the current model of REVA, through its auto business portal, www.autojunction.in, in Kolkata.
