Bhavdeep Singh, in-charge of stores and front-end operations of Reliance Fresh, Reliance Super and Reliance Mart, has quit, reports The Economic Times. Citing confirmation from company’s spokesman, the report said that Singh resigned citing personal reasons.
Quite recently, Reliance Retail orchestrated a shift in strategy and restructured roles and responsibilities of top executives. The company has merged the back-end of its hyper, super and convenience store formats to bring scale and efficiency and most importantly bring down costs. As part of the management rejig, Bhavdeep Singh was made in-charge of stores and front-end of all the three formats.
The development came hardly after a month of reshuffling the top company officials at Reliance Retail.
