FMCG company Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting is planning to expand its skin-care range in the next six months, besides giving a facelift to its existing flagship soap brand Santoor. According to media reports, the company will expand its personal care range within the next three to six months. The range will be more of the skin-care products like lotions and creams, a segment where the company remains absent till date.
Further the company will also revamp its popular Santoor soap brand with a new package with an aim to gain a bigger market share. Presently, Santoor’s personal care range includes soap, face wash, talcum powder, handwash and body wash.
Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting has achieved a turnover of Rs 5.27 billion in the quarter ending December 31, 2008, a growth of 21 per cent over the corresponding period of 2007.
