Apparel and accessories retail player Koutons Retail has witnessed a 9 per cent growth in its profit after tax (PAT) in the third quarter of the current fiscal compared to the corresponding period of last fiscal. The company reported a PAT of Rs12.25 crore during the third quarter of 2007-08, Koutons Retail said in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange.
Further, the company posted net sales of Rs228.95 crore during the third quarter of the current fiscal, a growth of 32 per cent over the net sales Rs173.10 crore reported during the same period of previous fiscal.
However, Koutons Retail, which currently has more than 1,400 outlets across the country, admitted that the ongoing slowdown has made an impact on its performance.
