Ferns ‘N’ Petals ties up with Archies

In a major step towards boosting sales on the occasion of Valentines day, flower retail major Ferns ‘N’ Petals has tied up with Archies Ltd, well known for its greeting cards. “As part of the tie-up, Archies would sell flowers from Ferns ‘N’ Petals on their website and Ferns ‘N’ Petals would sell gifts from Archies on their online service,” informed Pawan Gadia, vice president, Ferns ‘N’ Petals.

“The tie up with Archies is expected to bring in more sales for both the companies. Both the companies are in discussions to sell the products of each other from their outlets also,” added Gadia.

“This tie-up came into picture with a more comprehensive vision of the profitability for both the companies in future…” commented Vijayant Chhabra, MD, Archies Ltd. “…and we are also going to offer some excellent combo offers in which both the companies would be offering some discounts or gift items on purchage of any combo, but this all is going to be more clear only when we launch this offer very soon after Valentine Day.”

Archies already has tie-ups with international brands like Carlton Cards, Expressions Gifts Co (UK), Russberrie (UK) -a designer company and pioneers in soft toys, to source gifts. Apart from the most recent tie-up with one of the top international soft toys brand Me To U, the company is also into an exclusive licensing agreement with UK’s leading brand Paper Island to market and distribute its flagship brand Fizzy Moon in India.

“As more and more number of people are working and do not have so much time to spend on shopping. Under the circumstances, online services have made life easier for the people. It is well accepted and is appreciated as the customers and users are increasing day by day,” concluded Gadia.

Ferns ‘N’ Petals, besides selling its products online, currently operates through its 87 outlets across India. The company also claims to have strategic tie-up with 150 florists across the globe.
