In an effort to become a fashion accessories brand, popular timewear and eyewear brand Fastrack from the house of Titan has added new products in its portfolio. Further, the company has planned to open an exclusive Fastrack store in Pune soon and around 50 such stores across the country by April 2010, according to a company press release.
Bhaskar Bhat, MD, Titan Industries Ltd, said, “With the accessories market growing 15-18 per cent year-on-year and the branded segment in particular seeing a growth of more than 25 per cent, we saw an opportunity for Fastrack to expand its portfolio.”
Ronnie Talati, business head, Fastrack, said, “The launch of our new categories along with the new exclusive Fastrack stores is a significant step towards Fastrack becoming an iconic youth brand, perhaps the first Indian one.”
“True to the brands’ focus on being where its consumers are, the new Fastrack stores will be located in and around popular youth hang out destinations,” added Talati.
The new range of products include bags, belts, wallets and wristbands and is priced between Rs 195 and Rs 1695, added the release.
