In an attempt to strengthen its presence in India, Swiss timewear brand Rado plans to open around eight new exclusive outlets by this year end. Further, the company targets around 30 per cent growth this year, informed a top company official.
Speaking to media on the store launch in Ahmedabad, Roland Streule, president, Rado, said, “The markets in Asia are growing with increased demand for our products and we plan to increase our presence in India. Currently we have 12 stores across India. We plan to increase it to 17-20 by the end of 2009.”
“North India is our major market in India and we are now targeting the western region as well including Gujarat. Last year we have achieved a growth of 40 per cent and this year we are targeting 30 per cent growth,” concluded Streule.
