Sharing further his views on the forthcoming second edition of Food Forum India — FFI 2009, scheduled to take place on March 19-20 at The Renaissance, Mumbai, Kapur said, “Improved infrastructure and supply chains, consumer and customer intimacy, innovation and technology will help in the development of our large food market.”
Likewise the first ever Food Forum India event, the 2009 edition will be a two-day magnum opus of the Indian food industry with conferences, exhibition and awards. With a perspective on India, FFI 2009 will comprise a convention and exhibition, and sign off with the Images Coca Cola Golden Spoon Awards for excellence in food retailing.
Speaking more about FFI 2009, billed as the largest congregation of key, global and Indian, food retailers, manufacturers, organisations and minds in the food business, Kapur said, “Food Forum India is the right platform for the world food leaders to converge and chart out strategies for healthy consumption growth of the people and continued economic growth of the country.”
