Greeting cards major Archies has announced that ArchiesOnline.Com, a wholly owned subsidiary of Archies, has been amalgamated with Archies. The development came vide order of high court, said the company in its latest disclosure to Bombay Stock Exchange.
The company further said that the necessary form 21 has been filed with the registrar of companies (ROC), ministry of company affairs, government of India, and it has been approved on March 25, 2009 by the authorities.
Earlier in February this year, Archies tied-up flower retail major Ferns ‘N’ Petals to boost sales on the occasion of Valentines day. The company also enjoys tie-ups with with international brands like Carlton Cards, Expressions Gifts Co (UK), Russberrie (UK) – a designer company and pioneers in soft toys, to source gifts.
