As part of company’s aggressive expansion plan, Rasna Private Ltd, manufacturer and exporter of beverages and process foods, has planned to expand its presence in 30 cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Goa, Baroda, Surat, Pune, Jaipur, Indore, Hyderabad and Bengaluru, informed a top company official.
Speaking to IndiaRetailing, Rajendra Gandhi, business head, Rasna Private Ltd, said, “Rasna targets a total number of 1,500 stores by December 2009. This is in keeping with its strategy to expand in 30 cities, wherein each city would have 15-20 stores.”
Gandhi further informed that the company is expecting total revenue of around Rs 40 crore from the Devil’s Workshop outlets, out of which around 10-15 per cent of the revenue is expected from the B2B services of Devil’s Workshop.
In B2B business, Devil’s Workshop supplies its speciality products including doughnuts, puffs/pastries, pizzas, smoothes and croissants to clinets like Big Cinemas, Fame Cinemas, Zapak.com, Big Bazaar and Mr Beans Coffee.
