The Pizza Company, a brand owned by Thailand-based Minor Food Group, which is a leading food service operator company, is set to expand its restaurant chain in India.
The company in assistance with Franchise India International, which specialises in assisting foreign brands with their Indian entry, is reportedly seeking potential Indian partners to bring the brand concept to the consumers in India.
The company operates through three channels that include dine-in restaurants, take-away outlets and delivery units. The brand will work with their local Indian partners to customise everything from product taste, restaurant décor, and marketing to ensure the offering is tailored to local Indian tastes and preferences.
The Pizza Company has presence with 240 outlets across Thailand, China, Cambodia, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Jordan, and is now adding India as part of its rapid global expansion. The parent company, Minor International is operational with over 1,000 outlets under the brands including The Pizza Company, Swensen’s, Sizzler, Dairy Queen, Burger King, Thai Express and Coffee Club.
