This new 4,500 square foot day spa in Egmore, Chennai brings a strong contemporary approach to spa therapy. The spa is done up in a minimalistic style with therapists brought in from Bali to introduce a higher level of service. Opened in February 2009 by Influence Lifestyle Stores Pvt Ltd, the spa is owned by Naresh Jain who has also authored Evolution Lifestyle homes in Chennai. “The total investment in this spa is around Rs 2 crore,” says Varsha Jain, Managing Director, Influence Lifestyle Stores Pvt Ltd. The spa has 11 treatment rooms, including eight specific massage treatment rooms and three rooms each for pedi spa, facial and reflexology. Four more salons are expected to be launched in Chennai by 2011, with plans to expand to Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Mumbai and Delhi.
