Playboy fragrances were launched in India for the first time at a glittering event in Mumbai on April 22.
Bollywood actresses Mugdha Godse and Neha Dhupia, dressed in purple and gold were the cynosure of all eyes as they unveiled the fragrance. Fons Houtkamp, General Manager Asia, Coty Beauty; Venkatesh Babu, Regional Managing Director, Coty were also present at the event.
J L Morison (India) Ltd has signed an agreement with Coty Inc for exclusive distribution, which the company will ensure across all formats of trade in India.
“The repackaged Playboy will be sold at an affordable pricing. We plan to make Playboy the leading imported fragrance brand which is easily available to the Indian consumers,” says Biju Antony, Senior VP and Business Head, Lifestyle Division at JLM and other celebrities were present.
Four different variants of the brand have been launched including Hollywood Playboy, Malibu Playboy, Miami Playboy and Vegas Playboy. Also available are the deodorant, body sprays, EdT’s and Shave Lotions.
