The wait is finally over with the UK-based fast food company Dixy Chicken all set to inaugurate its first outlet in India on July 12.
Speaking to IndiaRetailing, Rajat Pandhi, MD, Dixy Chicken India Pvt Ltd, informed, “Our very first outlet in India is going to open at Versova, in Mumbai. It is an express format, measuring around 800 square feet.”
“The next one is planned at Lokhandwala, and is going to be launched soon,” Pandhi further stated.
On the returns expected from their first outlet, which is a franchisee, Pandhi said, “Besides the usual seven per cent of monthly sales of the franchisee, we expect to do a business to the tune of Rs 50,000 per day.”
On the company’s future expansion plans, Pandhi informed, “We plan another six outlets this year. Further expansion also depends on the reactions from prospective franchisees to our food and concepts.”
“However, we are opening our company owned outlet in Delhi this September,” Pandhi informed.
