Belkin International Inc., the global provider of interconnectivity solutions across computing and manufacturer of consumer electronic devices, has opened its first shop-in-shop in India by making its products available at Odyssey India Ltd., the retail chain of premier leisure stores. As a first step the company will offer its lifestyle and networking products on Odyssey shelves.
“We hope to successfully reaching out to our customers through premier stores like Odyssey that provide increased purchase convenience,” said Mohit Anand, country manager, Belkin Inc, India.
Odyssey’s footfalls, store design, and easy categorisation of wide range of assorted merchandise will enable Belkin to penetrate deeper into the Indian markets, opined Anand.
“This association provides Odyssey with an added advantage over its competitors with respect to hosting a complete assortment of merchandise across age groups. Belkin was our natural choice given its wide range of innovative offerings.” said T.S Ashwin, managing director, Odyssey India Ltd.
Belkin’s corporate headquarters is in LA and has offices throughout Europe, including the UK, the Netherlands, and Germany, as well as in the Asia Pacific region, including Australia, Shanghai, and the regional headquarters in Hong Kong.
