Lite Bite Foods Private Limited, which has Dabur’s vice-chairman, Amit Burman, as its strategic partner, plans to take the total number of its outlets from the existing 40 to 60 this fiscal.
In an exclusive interview, Amit Burman, vice-chairman, Dabur India Limited informed, “We currently run and operate around 40 outlets and we will increase the number of outlets, to 60 this fiscal.”
As part of its expansion strategy, Lite Bite Foods is set to inaugurate two outlets under its brand umbrella, in the month of August. The company is launching Baker Street, its bakery & café format at DLF Place, Vasant Kunj in New Delhi, in the second week of August.
On the other hand, Pino’s Pasta Pizza will be opened at the same location by the end of August, Burman informed.
The size of the Baker Street outlet, Burman said, would be around 400 square feet, which is exactly the same as the ones at Ambience Mall, Gurgaon and Food Union Clix at East of Kailash in New Delhi.
In a separate interview, Tej Pavan Singh Ghandok, Co-founder and CEO, Lite Bite Foods, stated that the company has aggressive expansion plans for the coming fiscal year.
“We are spending on all formats including the casual dining format, QSR and the food court formats. We are basically looking to triple our turnover. We will shortly be opening our brands Santino, Baker Street and Street Foods of India at the airport arrival areas too,” Gandhok informed.
