After wrinkle-free trousers, Turtle, one of the country’s fastest growing menswear apparel brands, is now rolling out wrinkle-free shirts from its stable. Christened as “D’crease”, the new range of shirts are made in plain fabric and available in white, ecru and blue.
“You are about to push off from office and suddenly your client calls you for a meeting. Imagine the state of your shirt after the whole day at work. That’s what prompted us to come up with wrinkle-free shirts,” said Amit Ladsaria, Director, Turtle.
“We have imported technology from Thailand to offer wrinkle-free shirts for our customers. The price will be around Rs 1,995 for each D’crease shirt,” he said. The production of wrinkle-free shirts involves the process of baking in specially designed oven, which enhances the wrinkle-free properties of the fabric resulting in garments requiring little or no ironing. This is done at the Thai Yamaki factory in Bangkok. Thai Yamaki utilises state-of-the-art production technology and machineries transferred from Japan.. Manufactured at Nishinbo, Japan, the D’crease range of shirts offers both comfort and functionality.
