Must Read

Amway India has inaugurated its Health and Beauty Brand Assessment Centre at Chennai in Tamil Nadu. With this, the total number of Amway’s Brand Assessment Centres in India has gone up to nine.

William S Pinckney, MD and CEO, Amway India, said, “Amway India recorded a turnover of Rs 1,407 crore in 2009, the 12th year of business in India, growing 25 per cent over the previous fiscal. We witnessed a significant growth in Q1-2010 with net revenue of Rs.435.35 crore as compared to Rs.330.4 crore in the corresponding quarter the previous year, registering a growth of 32 per cent.”

Pinckney said the Brand Assessment centres — such as the one in Chennai — gave the consumer a touch and feel of Amway products as well as the experience, and that the presence of Amway ads on TV had led to a surge in interest in Amway products.

"Amway focuses on four key strategic pillars to drive growth – business excellence, consumer experience, distributor experience and products and brands. The brand centre will communicate Amway products’ feel, features and values through live demonstrations and unlimited training to business owners and consumers. The centre is a unique experiential branding initiative to enhance brand visibility."
