Fashion designer Anita Dongre has forayed into the Chennai market by launching two stores – one each for her high street fashion brand ‘AND’ and her Indo-western line Global Desi – at Express Avenue, Chennai. The stores measure 900 sq.ft each.
Delighted about making her footprints felt in Chennai, Dongre, creative director of AND Designs India Limited, said, “We plan to open 10 AND stores and another eight Global Desi stores this financial year.”
The investment in both the stores is close to Rs 80 lakh, including stocks. With this launch, the designer has 20 AND stores and 17 Global Desi stores across India.
