Basecamp, a multi-brand outlet offering travel gear products, has launched a store at Korum Mall, Thane. The store is spread over an area of 304 sq.ft.
Speaking exclusively to IndiaRetailing, Basecamp MD Anish Goel says, “We have made an investment of approximately Rs.22 lakh on the store. As of now, we are receiving a return on investment of 18 per cent from our stores spread across the country. We are confident of achieving and surpassing this figure from our Thane store as well."
He further informs, “We are already promoting our store in Korum Mall through visual branding and other branding options. Basecamp is also being promoted via online medium on networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter.”
With the opening of the store at Korum Mall, Basecamp now has five outlets in India – two in Delhi and one each in Thane, Mumbai and Hyderabad. The brand is focussing on steadily expanding its presence across India. “We have set an ambitious plan of establishing our presence in the top 10 cities in India,” Goel says.
