City Mall 36, a shopping centre in Raipur, plans to introduce five vanilla stores – Book World (1,328 sq.ft), Sepia (1433 sq.ft), Club Fox (928 sq.ft), Exotic Tattoos (500 sq.ft) and Concierge Office (900 sq.ft) – in August this year. The management of the five-floor mall will lease a total area of 4,872 sq.ft on the new stores. The mall will also launch a large furniture store – Stellar Furniture – with a leased space of 3,000 sq.ft on fixed rental.
Informing that the mall is 87 per cent operational, Shruti Bose, chief general manager, City Mall 36, Raipur, said, “The anchor tenants of the mall are Globus (13,492 sq.ft), Wills Lifestyle (3,591 sq.ft) and Big Bazaar (52,040 sq.ft) and all are operational on fixed rental basis.” The mall, in existence for nearly three years, houses over 87 brands.
Talking about other retailers present at the mall, Bose said, “Moti Mahal, Prime Watch, Reebok, Woodland, Adidas, GKB Opticals, Lotus, Reid & Taylor, Belmonte, Koutons, Peter England, Dulhan, Biba, Provogue, Levi’s, Killer, ColorPlus, Lee, Turtle, Spykar, Café Coffee Day, are among the retailers operational since the inception of the mall.”
The gross leasable area (GLA) of the mall is 2,66,750 sq.ft and the property is currently five per cent vacant.
