Maria Sharma creates 12 hairdos for Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai

Kangana Ranaut has sported 12 hairdos in her latest release Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai, and a whopping amount of Rs20 lakh has been spent on these 12 wigs. Well-known hairstylist Maria Sharma, who has been in this industry for 35 years, has worked on Kangana’s look. “I have done all her films and this (Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai) is my 13th film with her. In this movie, director (Milan Luthra )wanted the ‘old’ look so he gave me pictures of actress like Parveen Babi, Sharmila Tagore, Hema Malini as references”, says Maria. Kangana has curly hair so I created several wigs and then styled it accordingly. Several things like make-up, costumes, etc were also considered while designing her hair, she adds further.
