Jewellery retailer Joyalukkas, which had recently opened a 40,000-sq.ft showroom in Bangalore, plans to open more such stores in the near future. The company, in fact, plans to expand to more than 20 outlets in India by the end of the current fiscal.
Joy Alukkas, chairman, Joyalukkas Group, says, “There will always be certain ups and downs in the market, but we are confident about our expansion plans. We provide something for every customer, so we have a very large clientèle, from upper class to college students.”
On the USP of the company, Alukkas says, “It is trust. We don’t offer discounts to woo customers; but often our customers come back because of the assurance of quality.”
Joyalukkas’ jewellery showroom in Bangalore, the largest in the garden city, is equipped with an array of exclusive designs and uncommon jewellery collections and promises to cater to each and every customer’s taste.
The ground floor of the showroom is dedicated to generic gold jewellery. It offers a range of intricately designed necklaces, earrings and ornaments crafted in a variety of styles – antique, contemporary and ethnic designs – showcasing the heritage of the past and bringing out the artistry of the present.
The first floor has branded gold jewellery and precious jewellery sourced from different parts of the world including Bahrain, Italy and Turkey.
The second floor of the showroom – dedicated to diamond jewellery – offers a wide range of Indian and Western bridal diamond jewellery sets, with diamonds from South Africa that are set and polished in Hong Kong.
The third floor offers silverware and crafted artifacts.
Joyalukkas, with over 20 years of international experience in jewellery retailing, manufacturing and exports, has diversified and expanded its offerings and geographical reach to operate subsidiaries in India and the UAE.
