The US-based spa chain – Red Door Spas (Elizabeth Arden) – is all set to enter the Indian market with its first Red Door Spa slated to open by 2011, as per Todd Walter, CEO, Red Door Spa Holdings. With the hotel industry in India on an expansion mode, Walter seemed upbeat about the future of his brand in India. Red Door participated at the FICCI Wellness 2010 conference held in Mumbai recently. As per Cornelia Zicu, Chief Creative Officer, Red Door Spa Holdings, “My dream would be to offer all services at our Indian spas.” The Red Door Spa Holdings operates different beauty and wellness service brands including The Red Door Spas (31 spas in the US), Chicago-based Mario Tricoci Hair Salons & Day Spas (19) and Simply Face and Body – a more masstige concept of express services for face and body.
