Q Mart, one of the leading lifestyle supermarkets in Andhra Pradesh (AP), is planning to launch four new stores in 2011. The stores will come up in Secunderabad (AP), Visakhapatnam (AP), Bangalore (Karnataka) and Pune (Maharashtra).
Speaking exclusively to IndiaRetailing, BVK Raju, partner, Q Mart Enterprises, said, “The average area of each store would be 20,000-35,000 sq.ft, while the company would invest around Rs 5 crore in each store.”
While the store in Secunderabad will be launched in January next year, the one in Visakhapatnam will come up in March 2011. The outlets in Pune and Bangalore will be opened in mid-2011.
