As the nation gears to settle into the Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) ring once again, the 
spotlight is on the clothes the stylish host, Amitabh Bachchan, will don for the show. Ace menswear designer Ravi Bajaj, known as the master of simplicity and elegance, will dress Amitabh Bachchan.
On his experience in this endeavour, Ravi Bajaj said, ‘The most important element that one kept in mind while designing the wardrobe for Amitabh Bachchan was that he is an ageless star! Unlike several others, his persona has to be kept in mind, whilst designing for him. I wanted him to look graceful, slick but not “too” designed.”
Describing the wardrobe designed for the icon, Bajaj said “He is more or less comfortable in a classic look, so I made him clothes that are more sartorial than `gimmicky`. We used dark colours, with hints of sharp hues coming through from the accessories. We did extensive fitting sessions with him, because we wanted everything to fit to the ‘T’. The finest silk velvets, fine light wools, finest Swiss cottons for shirts, handmade silk ties and more as some of the key elements.”
A festive look for the Diwali season has also been created for the actor, where he is wearing slightly more ethnic clothes, but with a contemporary touches.
