Crossword Bookstores Ltd has expanded its presence in Bangalore by opening a new store at Koramangala.
The store houses a wide range of books, movies, music and stationery, among other products.
With its aggressive expansion plans, Crossword aims at becoming the largest lifestyle bookstore chain in the country. “We are opening new stores in Bangalore and Mumbai. The stores will be opened before March 2011. This should take our store count to 70 stores across 15 cities in India, making us the largest lifestyle bookstore chain in the country,” says Sivaraman Balakrishnan, manager – marketing, Crossword Bookstores.
With the opening of the new outlet in Bangalore, the retailer now has 67 Crossword Bookstores across India.
