Diamond jewellery brand D’damas, part of the Gitanjali Group, recently launched its first-ever flagship store – Capital Jewels – in Delhi. The 1,000-sq.ft store at the Green Park market has a unique merchandising segmentation of sub-brands, zoning and continuous display, making it extremely easy for consumers to select and buy jewellery for all their needs.
On the store launch, Mehul Choksi, CMD, Gitanjali, said, “D’damas is already one of the most widely available brands across the country. Its products are also highly appreciated. Now we are taking it to the next level by enhancing the consumer’s shopping experience through larger and better stores.”
The inauguration of the store marks the beginning of a new phase of aggressive expansion for D’damas, which aims to open 50 franchisee stores by March next year and 100 by December 2011.
D’damas has six diverse sub-brands: Lamhe, Glitterati, Vivaaha, DER, Solitaire and Saumya.
