Premium denim-lifestyle brand 7 For All Mankind (7FAM), which has been available in Canada since 2003 through high-end department stores, will soon open its first EBO in the country. To be launched on March 10 at the famed Chinook Centre in Calgary, the store will be followed by two to three outlets per year for the next 4-5 years.
Bullish on the Canadian market, 7FAM is planning to open 10-15 stores in A+ mall locations within the next five years. The company says the decision was made to focus on a direct-to-consumer strategy due to the Canadian consumers’ increasing demand for the brand and the strong, resilient buoyancy of the Canadian market.
“Canada is a perfect market in which to offer our complete collection. The brand has been available in Canada for several years and has been extremely well received. Opening 7 For All Mankind stores will enhance the brand’s presence and permit us to offer a wider range of products to our Canadian customers,” said Giuliano Sartori, president of VF Contemporary Brands Canada Corp, a division of VF Corporation.
Each new store, Sartori added, will be located in the most prestigious areas for contemporary, high-end consumers.
Founded in 2000, Los Angeles-based 7 For All Mankind, a division of VF Contemporary Brands Inc, offers denim, sportswear and accessories collections for both men and women. The brand currently operates 119 stores worldwide.
