Beauty trends at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week A/W 2011

Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Autumn/Winter ’11 commenced at Pragati Maidan from April 6 to 10. Make-up magicians Vimi Joshi and Caroline Donnelly from MAC Cosmetics, Kapil Bhalla and Ambika Pillai created hair and make-up looks behind the stage this season. “Red lips are ruling this season,” says Ambika Pillai on the trends. On the contrary Kapil Bhalla comments, “As it was A/ W we have seen a lot of smokey eyes, but done differently. I haven’t used heavy colors on the lips except for two times that the lips were done in matte red. I have focused more on pales, corals and nudes. Nothing hectic in terms of lip color.”
