The Asian edition of Sustainable Cosmetics Summit by Organic Monitor is scheduled to be held in Hong Kong from November 7 to 8 2011. The summit aims to promote natural and organic beauty products in the region.
The summit will feature workshop that would include formulation issues related to the sector like, natural alternatives to synthetic chemicals and reviewing the leading natural and organic standards.
Another workshop at the summit would focus on the business openings and marketing challenges. Topics under discussion are set to include the latest market developments and major obstacles to growth in the Asian market. Pioneering companies from Europe and North America will also share their commendable practices.
However, the day two of the summit will include seminars that would showcase leading Asian brands. Dr Prahallad Maddi Archana from Himalaya Healthcare will discuss how Ayurveda is permeating into natural cosmetics and Jasmin Skincare will share its experience of targeting Chinese consumers.
